Charles M. Miller
Charles M. Miller founded the
Miller Law Offices in 1979 after serving as a General Attorney for the
legacy U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service. He is a
California State Bar Certified Immigration Law Specialist and helped to
establish immigration law as a field of legal specialization in California,
serving the State Bar's Specialty Advisory Commission both as chairman and
member.
Mr. Miller was named one of the
2017 "Lawyers of the Year" in Immigration Law by Best Lawyers
Business Edition and has also been honored by Best Lawyers in
America from 1991 through the present. He has a Martindale-Hubbell
Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent (5.0), representing the highest
level of professional excellence. Together with firm counselTerri
Senesac Miller, Mr. Miller has received the Jack Wasserman Memorial Award
from the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). His past
service to AILA includes membership on its Board of Directors, Southern
California Chapter Chair, chair of its Visa Office Liaison Committee, and
chair of its Compliance Auditing Standards Task Force. He has served
as the co-chair of AILA's national Verification and Worksite Enforcement
Liaison Committee.
Mr. Miller has written and
spoken nationally on cutting-edge issues in immigration law. His latest
book, ABA Immigration Compliance and Best Practices provides
the private bar with hard-to-find information regarding immigration
compliance solutions that rivals the resources found on the desks of
government attorneys.
He is also the co-author of Immigration
Law in the Workplace (Wolters Kluwer Publishers), which provides
guidance to U.S. companies regarding their immigration obligations and
benefits for foreign employees, and of Immigration Compliance Auditing
for Lawyers (American Bar Association), which analyzes the latest
federal law and policy pertaining to immigration compliance auditing.
He has also served as co-director and moderator of the Worksite Immigration
Compliance Symposium at Stanford Law School. Seth M. Miller - Counsel
Seth M. Miller, J.D., M.F.A. advises clients in
business, entertainment, and family-related immigration matters. His areas of focus include nonimmigrant
classifications – particularly H-1B specialty occupation workers, O-1
individuals of extraordinary ability or achievement, P-1 athletes, artists, and
entertainers, and TN professional workers under the United States-Mexico-Canada
Agreement – as well as employment- and family-based permanent residence and
applications for naturalization.
Mr. Miller
brings a unique professional background to the practice of immigration law,
including considerable experience within the entertainment industry both as a
television producer and a professional actor.
As a producer, he worked on programs for NBC, ESPN, MTV, Bravo, and
various other networks and platforms; as an actor, he appeared as a guest star
and co-star in programs for ABC, the CW, and the Disney Channel, and was also
featured in several commercials. He has
been a member of the Producers Guild of America since 2013 and a member of the
Screen Actors Guild since 1997.
He is an active
member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), including
membership in its New England and Southern California chapters.
Mr. Miller
holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School, where he received the
CALI Excellence for the Future Award; a Master of Fine Arts degree from Chapman
University Film School, where he was a recipient of the Marion Knott
Fellowship; and a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in Media Studies from Pitzer
College. Seth Miller has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America as a 2023 "Ones to Watch in America" honoree.
He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and

Terri Senesac Miller formerly
served the legacy U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service in Los
Angeles, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., and Manila, Philippines, and
was honored with the Justice Department's Special Achievement Award and
Outstanding Performance Award. She is a graduate of the University of
Southern California Law School and a California State Bar Certified
Immigration Law Specialist.
Ms. Miller has been recognized
as one of the nation's outstanding corporate immigration attorneys.
She was named one of the 2017 "Lawyers of the Year" in
